Dr. Weil, you forgot to mention the more obvious prevention: exercise, eating only raw veggies, fruit, salmon.. NO smoking (tobacco and most likely weed too!).. maybe even eating raw garlic a lot! thank you so much!!! all my love! - Freddy

When my mother was alive, she saw a gerontologist who said their latest research is saying that the very best prevention of dementia is exercise, because it stimulates blood flow to the brain.

Dr. Weil, thank you so much for the captioning. And it was understandable and easy to read. That makes it so much easier for those of us with hearing loss. ( I actually could not g et the audio !!??, but of course did understand what you were saying :) )

Regarding the best approach for prevention, the following article by Will Block publisher at LE Magazine discusses “when combined, Omega-3s (DHA) , Turmeric, Galantamine, EGCG, and Resveratrol … may work together … to limit Alzheimer’s cascade at all stages without inhibiting normal pathway function.”
